The Dunedin Swim Team Gala (Challenge Meet) is held annually in September, at the beginning of the swimming season. It is a popular event on the Scottish Swimming calendar, attracting hundreds of swimmers across all ages and abilities from across the country. It is a fun event, and an ideal opportunity for swimmers wanting to obtain a baseline time from which to measure their performance through-out the rest of the season.

Venue: Bathgate Excite Centre.
Pool: 25m, 6 lanes, anti-turbulent lane ropes, full electronic timing and scoreboard, spectator area and cafeteria.
Age Groups: 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16+
