Land / Swimming Training Fees

Monthly fees for performance squad swimmers are £75 per swimmer for17hrs pool time (~£1.10 / hr) paid by standing order on the 14th of every month

Monthly fees for development squad swimmers vary depending on training hours in the pool. Fee structure starts at £10 per month for 2hrs per week, £20 for 4hrs weekly, £30 for 6hrs weekly, £40 for 8hrs weekly and £50 for 10hrs weekly. When you reach 12hrs+ pool time, please contact Elaine Matthews or James Laird for training fee details.

Land training is at the weekend at the Royal Commonwealth Pool (Edinburgh). This depends on pool time

Note that on occasions, we have to work these sessions around fund raising activities which all parents of swimmers are required to take part in.

With regard to gala entries, we ask that entry fees are paid prior to the entry being made. We add 10% of the total to the entry. This is to cover relay entries, coach passes, coaches lunch, expenses, etc. When the club travel to a meet and stay away, the swimmers attending the meet pay the coach and team manager expenses between them (on a pro rata basis depending on the number of days they are swimming / staying). Swimmers not staying over pay a share of the coach costs but not the team manager costs. Dunedin Swim Team Executive Committee hope that eventually the club can pay these costs from fund raising but we have not reached that stage yet.
